Instead of letting the electoral process work, Virginia’s Attorney General (R) has announced he will “intervene” to get six Republicans on the primary ballot; the six who couldn’t qualify themselves. Two Republicans (Mitt Romney and Ron Paul) were able to qualify for the ballot.
State primary ballots are supposed to reflect the wishes of the voters and the strength of the candidate IN THAT STATE. Putting Republicans who couldn’t qualify on the ballot makes a state primary invalid–a non-qualifier should be ineligible to receive any of that state’s electoral votes.
Let the state’s electoral process stand, guys.
