In New Hampshire, the Democratic Party has lost phone service at eleven state locations.
This weekend, Kansas voters received robo-calls telling them to bring proof of home ownership when they vote on November 3rd. No one needs to own a home to vote (and home owners needn’t bring proof) and, of course, Voting Day is November 2nd.
New Hampshire’s Democratic Party faced a similar problem in 2002, when a coordinated effort jammed their phone lines with hang-up calls, disrupting their get out the vote effort. The 2002 actions “resulted in criminal convictions for former state GOP executive director Charles McGee and former political consultant Allen Raymond.”
